“When the construction industry comes together, the community really feels the impact. We’ve been able to support so many children’s charities over the years because of our generous sponsors and wonderful volunteers that come back each and every year.”
-Renee Nutter, The Nutter Foundation President
Testimonials
“Thanks to a grant from Dozer Day®, the Fort Vancouver High School Lady Trapper Basketball program has been able to support our off-season program by playing in the spring/summer and fall basketball leagues. Every year it is our priority to bring our entire program to volunteer and this has been a tradition for over 10 years. It is an incredible way for your student athletes to give back to their community and build long lasting friendships while doing so.”
“Over the last decade, Dozer Day® has supported Scouting in so many ways. Through their community engagement and financial support, youth in the program have learned lessons about hard work, dedication, being productive members of their community, and earning their own way. Both Dozer Day® and the Nutter Foundation have helped send younger and older Scouts to camps in our area and around the country. The support has also allowed Scouts to attend international camping and leadership programs, such as sailing in the Atlantic via the BSA Sea Base Programs. Dozer Day® and Nutter Foundation have been essential partners in providing positive youth development in a safe space where there are continuing opportunities for success or failure that have no lasting consequences, under the guidance of caring and connected adults of character. This helps the youth gain confidence, and the ability to be productive, responsible, leaders in the future.”
“The Dozer Day®’s volunteer compensation program has helped provide uniforms. supplies, and equipment for students in our Criminal Justice Program. These funds have also supported our students in being able to participate in other community volunteer programs, Skills USA Competitions and the Mock Trial District and State Tournaments.”
